A European vaccine passport by the end of June. This is what European Commissioner for Internal Market Thierry Breton has promised. This Sunday April 18, 2021, invited on BFMTV, the European Commissioner announced the Covid-19 vaccine passport will be “carried out by mid-June or late June at the latest” in Europe.

According to the European Commissioner for Internal Market, this type of document is to be inaugurated before the end of June in France and everywhere else in Europe. The latter confirms tests are planned for early June.
Furthermore, Breton reminded the importance of vaccinating to effectively fight against Covid-19. He says vaccinating is “the way to break the pandemic’s evolution and return to normal life”. In the same interview, the European Commissioner has confirmed the debt taken by State members for the Covid-19 recovery plan “will not be cancelled”.
