As of Friday 13 May 2022, it is estimated 96.15% of coronavirus cases in Paris show absence of the L452R mutation characterizing the Omicron variant. This estimation is made based on data from Santé Publique France focusing on the proportion of variants in targeted positive tests and the total number of positive tests. This spread is correlated to the evolution of the incidence rate in the capital city.
