A cozy and gourmet nest, as well as a trompe l’oeil pastry: here are the two gourmet and light creations thought up and created by Maison Foucade for this Easter 2018 celebrations.
As usual, Foucade thinks about your body AND your taste buds by offering gluten-free and allergen-free pastries without any additive, low in sugar and fat.
Let’s start with this “cozy and gourmet nest”.
Behind this composition made by hand by Chef Saori himself, hides a base made of raw cocoa crispy biscuit topped by two broken milk and rice chocolate egg shells. The whole is enlivened by three nests containing candies made of dark chocolate from Ecuador shaped like eggs filled with a golden sesame praline, a mango/passion coulis and a sudachi jelly. Please note that the egg-shaped chocolate candies are available for sale for April!

Next, we discover the Trompe l’Oeuf:
Behind this wonderful fried egg in trompe l’oeil style, reveals a crispy golden sesame biscuit topped by a raw biscuit with almonds from Sicilia, a golden sesame cream mixed with a mango compote and a sudachi jelly. On the top, for the egg yolk, a mango/passion fruit cream.
