This ship and this crocodile, do they ring any bell? Certainly, the famous scene on Peter Pan where Hook is terrified of the crocodile. It’s indeed the chef’s inspiration when he saw his daughter watching the famous classic.
So, after conquering space, this year, the chef takes us aboard his chocolate shop. A boat obviously full of surprise that will undoubtedly delights children as much as adults.
The ship is made of Caribbean dark chocolate that is smooth and fruity, filled with almond and fleur de sel praline and almond nougatine chunks. The mast, the bow and the crow’s nest are made of Jivara chocolate, bringing some smoothness, with the harbor master’s office and the crocodile filled with Valencia almond praline. This ship also hides a secret… Inside hides a gold coin treasure!
800-gr of pleasure covering 26 cm, this is what we’re offered. The Oeuf Croc’O Trésor is available starting April 2, 2019 to take away for €85. Well, since we’ve got to pick our chocolate treasure how about stopping by the tearoom for an afternoon tea to taste the over-sublime “Essaim de la Reine”. Pollen shortbread, light sunflower from Gers honey mousse that is smooth and not too-sweet, honey and olive oil jam, madeleine cake finely soaked, eucalyptus confit, the whole sprinkled with fresh pollen and a few fennel flower tips. It’s light and delicate. Careful though, it’s just divine, Gods’ nectar, you’ve been warned!
