Disneyland Paris celebrates its heritage and its artistic professions on Saturday September 19 and Sunday 20, 2020 online with digital experiences to enjoy at home for European Heritage Days. The occasion to become unbeatable on the story of the park!

Disneyland Paris has decided to promote its heritage and its thirty artistic professions for a weekend filled with discoveries, for the 37th edition of European Heritage Days on Saturday September 19 and Sunday 20, 2020. For these two exceptional days, a digital tour at home - because of coronavirus - has been created to allow visitors to discover Disneyland Paris in a new light. Architecture, history, gastronomy and crafts are given pride of place in several experiences and videos available on line, on your laptot, tablet or smartphone.

From Walt Disney's story, to all the bonds between the American company and France, this tour will tell you a lot of things you do not know. What has inspired the creation of the park? Why are there names on each window? What have the store fronts and corners of the oh-so little visited arcades in store? Does Sleeping Beauty's Catsle remind you of something in France? Why are there snails on the façade?

From the story to the architectural inspiration and all the way to shining a light on artisans working in the shadow, this tour is a genuine revelation. You discover the park is full of real manhole covers of different American cities, and the castle, upstairs, is fitted with hand-weaved tapestries from Aubusson with silk threads, that Discovery Land is inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci and you get to know all the details that are part of the decor such as the coat of arms designed by Walt Disney or the 1899 painting representing the upcoming vision of Baltimore in 1999.

Curious people can also discover on Instagram an exhibition devoted to past and current shows with many costumes and other models presented by a stage director. A presentation Internet users can take part in and ask their questions live (answers will be publishes in story). A unique experience likely to delight children and adults!
