Make the best of the 37th edition of European Heritage Days to discover Auguste Comte's house open on Saturday September 19 and Sunday 20, 2020. Set on rue Monsieur le Prince, in the heart of the Latin Quarter, this museum-apartment has not changed a bit since Auguste Comte's death 151 years ago. Meet from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. for a self-guided and free tour open to the entire family.
Maybe you’ve already read some of his works at school or during your studies, but who is Auguste Comte? Father of sociology, this major 19th-century philosopher also developed positivism, “a global project reorganizing the society in its social, political, moral and even religious grounds” like the museum named after him says.
