How about visiting the Czech Republic without leaving Paris? For the 38th European Heritage Days, the Czech Republic Embassy opens on Saturday September 18 and Sunday 19, 2021 to all so that you can visit the building. Meet in Paris 7th arrondissement for a visit with friends or family and take part in different family-friendly workshops!

For two days, come and discover this building set a stone's throw from the Eiffel Tower, built in 1912 based on blueprints by architect Pierre Humbert. The ground floor includes three lounges and a garden you can visit freely. A lovely family outing open to children from 4 years old.

European Heritage Days 2021 at the Czech Republic Embassy:

  • Engraving workshopSaturday September 18 and Sunday 19 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Different engraving techniques have been tradition in Czech Republic for a while. In this workshop, Tereza wishes to shine another light on engraving, in relationship with her art. The workshop will introduce you to the basics of gum engraving, an easy-to-work-with material. Workshop limited to 12 people maximum
  • Tereza Lochmann tells "Kytice" by Karel Jaromir Erben Saturday September 18 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday 19 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Tereza's work will take over the different spaces of the Czech Republic Embassy to give visitors a surprising life-size poem. From one room to the other, works by Lochmann and abstracts from Karel Jaromir Erben's poems will team up to take visitors to a subtle tour introducing them to past and present folklores.

You do not need to travel far to actually travel thanks to European Heritage Days 2021!
