The same weekend also sees the Journées du Matrimoine. Created in 2015 by the HF Île-de-France association, this cultural event aims to promote Matrimoine and the legacy of its women, their achievements and their works. For two days, the Journées du Matrimoine will honor women authors, composers, artists and architects through a program of meetings, readings, exhibitions, tours, conferences, screenings...
In 2023, theInstitut du Monde Arabe will be taking part in the Journées du Patrimoine et du Mat rimoine on September 16 and 17. Opened in 1987, this sublime museum has become one of the capital's must-see places for a better understanding of Arabic language and culture, thanks to temporary exhibitions that are both educational and topical, as well as permanent collections. This multi-disciplinary venue puts the spotlight on artists from the Arab world, and creates a cultural bridge between Europe, France and the Arab world.
