For fans of the Middle Ages, visit the Tour Jean-Sans-Peur in Paris's 2nd arrondissement for a free tour at a very low price. Usually offered at a higher price, this medieval tower welcomes you for just 2 euros, to stroll through the remains of a bygone era, next to Philippe-Auguste's enclosure - a real piece of history!

Built at the height of the Hundred Years' War, this building is one of the last perfectly preserved traces of the Palace of the Dukes of Burgundy in Paris. Its magnificent staircase, topped by a sculpted vault unique in France, and its five storeys make it an exceptional place to (re)discover the Middle Ages. An experience made all the more unique by the fact that relics from this period of the past are relatively rare.
