For European Heritage Days, the Swedish Institute invites you for guided tours of the building where it houses: the splendid hotel de Marle. Meet on September 21 and 22, 2019 to discover this little architectural gem!

A small Swedish corner in Paris, the Swedish Institute proposes many exhibitions, movie screenings and cultural activities allowing us to know more about this country. And for the 36th edition of European Heritage Days, on September 21 and 22, 2019, the Institute highlights another aspect of its heritage: the building in which it’s housing! The latter, the Hôtel de Marle is a splendid premise from the late 16th century purchased over 50 years ago to house the Swedish Institute.

Its painted ceiling, its main stairway or even the upside-down hull structure à la Philibert Delorme make of it’s a building with a very exceptional architecture enjoying a fascinating story and just sublime to look at! Tours are held non-stop by the Swedish Institute staff and guides from the Paris Historiques Association. A tour you really don’t want to miss!
