Such is the case ofSainte-Marguerite church, which opens its doors to the curious on September 16 and 17, 2023. Located between Charonne and Ledru-Rollin, this religious edifice in the 11th arrondissement is largely unknown, but well worth the detour!

Its chapel is decorated with an exceptional trompe-l'oeil, while numerous paintings depict the life of Saint-Vincent de Paul. Sainte-Marguerite also boasts a number of famous tombs, including the presumed tomb of Louis XVII - whose heart was transferred to the Basilica of Saint-Denis.
