Discovering the Marais through art… For the 36th edition of European Heritage Days, the Lafayette Anticipations Foundation offers the possibility to curious visitors to enjoy an art tour of the Marais on September 21 and 22, 2019. Let yourself be guided by “a series of courtyards recently refitted and re-open to the public within historic buildings from rue du Plâtre to rue de de la Verrerie”.
An art route presenting “the heritage and architectural story of these passages, the lasting works inhabiting there and what happens behind the scenes of a cultural institution thanks to a tour of Lafayette Anticipations production studios.” We almost enjoy the tour to admire the first Parisian work by Scottish artist Martin Boyce called A Thousand Future Blossoms created for Eataly Paris. Three “art interventions” of the artist who creates “an urban narration where the rich memory of the place plays with an accumulation of shapes made of mineral materials”.
To beautifully wrap up this tour, art fans are invited to talk over a movie and “elements documenting the production of Martin Boyce’s works”. Let’s go on an art walk, shall we, friends?
