For the 40th edition of the Journées du Patrimoine in Paris, the Arc de Triomphe is opening its doors free of charge! Join us on Saturday and Sunday, September 16 and 17, 2023, for a unique insight into the history of this key Paris landmark!

Good news for lovers of French heritage, as the famous Journées du Patrimoine return to Paris and the Île-de-France region this autumn. For two days, on Saturday September 16 and Sunday September 17, 2023, Parisians and Ile-de-France residents are invited to open the doors of mythical, sometimes hidden, unusual or even little-known monuments, to experience a wild plunge into our very rich heritage.

From museums and institutions to castles and religious centers... many places take part in the Journées du Patrimoine every year.
