On Saturday September 21 and Sunday 22, 2019 Paris Institut Giacometti invites all of you to discover the museum for free and guided tours as part of European Heritage Days.

Art and Giacometti fans especially are expected at the Institut Giacometti for self-guided and guided tours for the 36th edition of European Heritage Days on Saturday September 21 and Sunday 22, 2019. A facility opening for the first time for this exceptional event.

On the menu, Parisians and tourists are invited to take part in guided tours of the hotel particulier (from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.), by prior registration, as well as in the “Histoire de Corps” workshop and exhibition (from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.). Note that self-guided tours are also available if you want to take your time.

A genuine reference museum around the sculptor’s work mainly devoted to exhibiting his work but also to art research and instruction. A museum set in Paris 14th arrondissement, in the Montparnasse area, where Giacometti used to live and work all along his career that has been oh-so creative! The institute is set in artist-designer Paul Follot’s former studio, an Art Déco hotel particulier. Let’s give it a go for European Heritage Days, shall we?
