This year, Fine Arts enthusiasts can head to the Petit Palais. Designed first for the 1900 World’s Fair in Paris, the ensemble including the Grand Palais, the Petit Palais and the Pont Alexandre III is undoubtedly the most beautiful symbol of the “Fine Arts” style prevailing by the end of the Belle Epoque era. In 1902, it is agreed that the Petit Palais is to house the Fine Arts Museum of the city of Paris. It first houses orders or purchases made by the city of Paris directly to artists, and bequests from major Fine Arts collectors.

European Heritage Days Program at Petit Palais:

Flash tours: History of a landmark - Saturday and Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. every 30 minutes
