On health grounds, and to make sure visitors can stay safe and healthy, the Musée des Arts Forains unfortunately will not open to the general public this year for European Heritage Days 2020. Yet, open guided tours provided all year around ,are scheduled on Saturday September 19 and Sunday 20, 2020.
Just go and enjoy a playful and exclusive guided tour. Accompanied by comedian guides, enjoy a 1h30-tour discovering one of the greatest collection of entertaining and show iteams, curiosities and carny art staged on the themes of cabinet of curiosities, Venice carnival, extraordinary gardens, and Belle Epoque-funfair.
Open on booking only, these guided tours cost €16 for adults, €8 for children from 4 to 11 years old, and free for children under 4. To take part, meet on the Musée des Arts Forains wesbite.
As for European Heritage Days 2020, we still have good news. Even though the Musée des Arts Forains does not open to the general public, it provides a privileged tour backstage, usually closed to visitors. This is the rare occasion to break the mysteries of this living-museum, a chance reserved to some happy few since the visit will be completed in groups of 15 people maximum. The tour suits children from 12 years old.
To face the demand, the Musée des Arts Forains - sticking to its tradition for the love of the game - offers us to enter a random draw. You can win 2 tickets by sending an email prior to September 14, 2020 at firstname.lastname@example.org, citing your last name, name, zip code, email address and phone number. And you say if you want to come on Friday September 18, 2020 in the morning or on Saturday September 19, 2020 in the morning or the afternoon. Only one entry available per household. The random draw will take place on September 15, 2020 and winners will be contacted to be informed of their sign-up.
