On September 21 and 22, 2019 Paris Musée du Barreau [Museum of Bar] takes part in European Heritage Days. It’s an unexpected heritage in Paris devoted to the story of Justice and the main figures of Paris Bar that you can discover!

Make the best of European Heritage Days to discover Paris Museum of Bar on September 21 and 22, 2019. Set by the Church of Saint-Eustache, this historic monument is hidden in the vaults of a house from the 17th century and offers us to learn more about French justice, starting from the 18th century.

Throughout works or art and original documents such as pleas and work notes, we discover the story of the lawyers of the Bar of Paris. The famous trials still haunting the capital, such as the trial of Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette, the Dreyfus trial, as well as the lead figures of the Bar of Paris such as Léon Gambetta and Raymond Poincaré are as many things to discover in this unique place.

For European Heritage Days 2019, free guided tours are available. Lasting one hour, they are held at 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday and are available by registration only. Registrations open on August 20, 2019.
