For European Heritage Days 2019 in Paris, the Musée de la Vie Romantique invites you to discover Romantic Paris throughout tours, entertainments and concerts on September 21 and 22, 2019.

As part of European Heritage Days 2019, the Musée de la Vie Romantique invites you to find out more about Paris and discover the romantic Paris. It’s also the occasion to visit this uncommon museum and its green terrace nestled in Hotel Scheffer-Renan during this weekend filled with entertainments and discoveries for children and adults.

If you haven’t heard about the Musée de la Vie Romantique yet, you can guess by discovering the place they’ve packed with history. You’ll be curious and it’s good since on European Heritage Days you can go and discover all the secrets of the Hotel Scheffer-Renan with guided tours. They are available on Saturday September 21 at 2 p.m., 3 p.m., 4 p.m. and 5 p.m.

For half an hour, the guide will present the place as well as the collections and then you can walk on your own. You’ll know more about the permanent collections, admire the courtyard, enjoy the garden… and maybe have a cup of tea in the tearoom!

To challenge the artist inside you, you’re invited to take part in a collective work on Saturday September 21, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. With a plastic artist, meet in the Grand Atelier to reinterpret a painting from the museum’s collections in a large format thanks to a collage. You can also choose to recreate a part of a sculpture. Once the work is done, it will be displayed on Sunday September 22.
