European Heritage Days 2020, planned on September 19 and 20, 2020, are an irresistible event for the History of France lovers. This year, cultural venues gather around the following theme: Heritage and education: learning for life. It was all it took for the Palace of Versailles to unveil a playful and attractive program.
As part of BD 2020 and for European Heritage Days 2020 at the Palace of Versailles, more than ever, comics is given pride of place. At the same time as the Fountains Shows remaining charged, the estate offers you to go on a discovery of the most beautiful places in the norther wing, with a tour paced by pictures.
Please note that signing sessions are scheduled along with the exhibition with artists Maud Begon, Jean-Michel Beuriot, Boris Beuzelin, Stéphane Crety, Arnaud Delalande, Florent Grouazel, Martin Jamar, Thierry Laudrain, Éric Liberge, Younn Locard, Patricia Lyfoung, Olivier Pâques, Régis Parenteau-Denoël, Isa Python, Frédéric Richaud and Alexis Vitrebert. Table pannels are also planned in the palace's auditorium with Versailles au féminin (Saturday September 19 at 11 a.m.); Transmettre l'Histoire par l'image, des galeries historiques au 9e Art (Saturday); Pourquoi Versailles? and even La Reconnaissance artistique de la bande-dessinée.
History fans will get to discover the historic galleries in the light of the 9th art... After the tour, you can enjoy the Horse-carriage gallery to discover the wonderful manège designed by Jules Hardouin-Mansart and the collection of carriages.
