The Musée des Arts et Métiers takes part in European Heritage Days on Saturday September 17 and Sunday 18, 2022, offering us free guided tours and workshops especially delighting kids.

As part of the 39th edition of European Heritage Days, the Musée des Arts et Métiers offers free guided tours and workshops on the major inventions in this world, for children and adults. Meet on Saturday September 17 and Sunday 18, 2022, for free workshops for everyone. Free admission without necessary booking, excluding guided tours requiring compulsory booking.

If the permanent collection of the Musée des Arts et Métiers delights a lot of children, it is because it offers a journey through time to discover the major inventions and techniques: scientific instruments, materials, construction, communication, energy, mechanic and transports and we discover thousands of items that changed their time in a very beautiful venue.

In all, the tour is divided into seven collections (scientific instruments, materials, construction, communication, ernergy, mechanic and transort), subdivided into four chronological periods of time (before 1750, 1750-1850, 1850 -1950, post 1950). Besides, curious people can discover Lavoisier's laboratoryFoucault's pendulum and even the automaton theater.

Is there anything better than playful and instructive tours for children and adults?
