Paris Philharmonie, the new Cité de la Musique in the French capital takes part in European Heritage Days this September on Saturday 19, 2020. On the menu, free tour of the Musée de la Musique, mini-concerts, and an immersion in the heart of the Beatles universe for music lovers of all ages!

For European Heritage Days 2020, themed as "Heritage and education: learn for life!", the Philharmonie de Paris offers a walking-concert for free within the museum: Beatlemania! This is the occasion to dive into the universe of the legendary Liverpool-based band. Meet on Saturday September 19, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Inaugurated on January 14, 2015, the new Cité de la Musique is a building of the future, our heritage and for the upcoming generations: thought up by Jean Nouvel to house the Paris Orchestra, music workshops and the Musée de la Musique, the building is a beautiful work that found its place in our heritage.

On the menu of these European Heritage Days 2020 at the Paris Philharmonie:

  • Visit of the Musée de la Musique: Saturday September 19, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Come along and discover the Musée de la Musique and its 1000 instruments and items as rare as uncommon such as the turtle guitar and the crystal flute.

  • Beetlemania - Saturday September 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Let's go for a sound immersion in the heart of the Beatles universe. Guided by Musée de la musique curator Alexandre Girard-Muschagorry, discover the band's emblematic instruments such as the Ludwig modle Ringo Starr drums or the Telecaster 1957 guitar. Live shows will pace the walk.

Enjoy this musical ride!
