The Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days ) give us the opportunity to rediscover our national treasures this weekend, from Saturday 16th to Sunday 17th September 2023 . What an opportunity to live and visit Paris and the Ile-de-France region during these exceptional days: many cultural, historical and artistic sites open their doors to us free of charge during this unmissable event.
It's a chance to (re)discover the region's churches, cathedrals, chapels and basilicas, with open houses, guided tours and original events. These places steeped inhistory and filled withworks of art invite us to discover their secrets and stories, thanks to original tours that often take us into places to which you don't normally have access.
Every year, the European Heritage Days give millions of curious visitors the chance to discover their region's finest historical and cultural treasures for free or at a reduced cost. During this exceptional weekend, you can take advantage of the opportunity to visit monuments, institutions and curiosities usually closed to the public, and have fun with the many events that bring these places to life.
