If you can't make it to theÉlysée Palace, the Senate or theNational Assembly during the Journées du Patrimoine, why not take a tour of the various ministries opening their doors for the occasion. And for the 40th edition of the event, many political establishments are welcoming you to discover the underbelly of power, but above all the workings of the ministries, with its minister and his or her various collaborators.
It's also a great opportunity to find out how the government works, and how it operates. Ministry of Justice, Ministry of the Army, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of the Economy, Matignon... So many facets of the governing team to discover, and perhaps to inspire a few vocations in the younger members of the family. Visits are also accompanied by numerous events and meetings.
And for this year's Heritage Days, the themes are"Living Heritage" and"Sports Heritage". As a preview, on Friday September 15, 2023, a number of events are planned for school groups, including "Raise your eyes" and "Les enfants du Patrimoine", in collaboration with the French Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. The aim? To raise awareness among youngsters of the richness and preservation of our heritage. And a great opportunity for families to get out and about, free of charge!
