The Champs Elysées will be free of car and pedestrian one Sunday per month. It's the perfect occasion to discover the world's most beautiful avenue in a new light and to take a selfie in front of the Arc de Triomphe without any car to ruin the scenery. Next event: Sunday October 6, 2019.

With "Paris Respire", the City of Paris intends to reduce its fine-particle emissions. And since October 2018, the car-free area will extend to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th arrondissements allowing pedestrians to fully enjoy the city center.
