Aah le Brach, with its cosy Starck-designed rooms, tasty restaurant, pastry counter, swimming pool and even rooftop vegetable garden... A choice hotel for your stay in Paris!

The Evok Hotels Collection group(Nolinski Paris, Brasserie Réjane, Restaurant du Palais Royal) unveils the latest addition to its family:Hôtel Brach. Nestled in the capital's 16th arrondissement, the hotel is the talk of the town, with a space entirely imagined and reinvented by the inimitable Philippe Starck.

As soon as you enter, you're surprised. No lobby, but a small desk pointing guests in the right direction. To the right for the restaurant, and opposite for the elevators leading to the rooms and lobby. Yes, the lobby is on the 1st floor, and there's a reason for that... the terrace, with its comfortable armchairs and even a ping-pong table!

Let's face it, the Brach's 52 rooms on the rooftops of Paris aren't very spacious, but they're ingenious, bright and enhanced by a unique decor in a rather eclectic style featuring aboriginal statues, photos, paintings and books to read.

Philippe Starck has combined leather, wood and fabrics to make the rooms cocoons you won't want to leave. A small nod to the smoked-glass bathrooms, a style also found at 9Confidentiel.

Le Brach also offers 7 suites, all with tree-lined terraces featuring Norwegian baths, views over the city's rooftops, and even views of the Eiffel Tower for some! We fell under the spell of the Suzanne suite, 115 m², one room with a king-size bed, another with a queen-size bed, a magical bathroom, a large terrace with a Norwegian bath, and a living room we'd all love to have at home...

Suite guests also have the privilege of access to the rooftop urban garden, where they can enjoy a cocktail, barbecue a meal or watch the vegetables grow in the garden. Well, the dream life costs 4,000 euros a night, and we're happy to settle for a superior room at 500 euros a night, thanks to the comfort of the lobby and shared terrace.

The 160-seat restaurant offers Mediterranean cuisine that's healthy, well-balanced, seasonal and, above all, tasty, with products selected from the finest producers. And why not round off your dinner in the hotel's cocktail bar?

The bar team has chosen to work with fresh produce: minute condiments, mortar-crushed spices, cold-extracted juices and homemade syrups to offer guests an original menu.

Sweet tooths are not to be outdone by the patisserie, a veritable neighborhood boutique within theHôtel Brach, headed by pastry chef Yann Brys, Meilleur Ouvrier de France in 2011. Yann Brys offers traditional desserts as well as original, colorful creations to complement the savory dishes.
