Jardin21 returns to Paris on April 5, 2024, and celebrates its 7th anniversary with a grand re-opening party! Open from Wednesday to Sunday, this 1,600 m² plot, nestled in the Parc de la Villette on the outskirts of Pantin, is a rejuvenating wasteland and a veritable vegetable garden, with fruit trees, aromatic plants and seasonal fruits and vegetables.
This summer of 2024, the canal de l'Ourcq garden will be full of surprises, with a truly artistic, cultural and festive program. On the program: workshops and meetings to learn about gardening and eco-responsible practices, acoustic concerts, markets for local producers and ethical designers, as well as sports, yoga and self-defense classes, creative workshops, a treasure hunt for children... In the evenings, you can enjoy electronic evenings hosted by local house and disco collectives!
New this year is a brand-new 1,3000 m² guinguette area that will be integrated into Jardin21 from May onwards, with a pizza foodtruck, a new bar area... This year, Jardin21 has teamed up with COP1, the association that fights against student poverty, to offer the Wednesday purchasing power evening one Wednesday a month. This summer also sees the return of stand-up comedy at Jardin21, with the return of the Greenwashing Comedy Club, a collective of comedians committed to the environment.
On the food front, Jardin 21 unveils a menu of meat, vegetarian and vegan dishes, with an emphasis on local produce. What's on the menu? Planks of charcuterie and cheese to nibble on (from €11.90 to €19.90), hots dogs to eat on the go (€8 to €10 with fries), gourmet burgers (from €13.90 to €14.90) or healthier optionswith poke bowls and salads (€11.90). All from local producers, with Brie de Meaux melting into your cheeseburger, a brioche bun kneaded and baked in Paris, French meats and, above all, plenty of vegetarian options, all accompanied by homemade fries of course! For those with a sweet tooth, there's even a range of desserts, including chocolate fondant, cheesecake and ice cream, for a snack or to round off the meal.
And as in previous years, Jardin 21 is keeping an eye on your wallet by offering a range of events, most of them free or at very affordable prices: such as the gardening course scheduled for every Saturday morning, hatha yoga sessions, creative workshops for children...Shall we take a little trip to Jardin 21 this week?

Also new, one Wednesday a month, an evening for students organized by the Cop1 Solidarités Etudiantes association, which supports young people in difficulty by distributing unsold food and other items.On the program: Happy Hour from 6pm to 10pm, self-expression fresco stand, and DJ sets with an Open Platine allowing amateur DJs to play in front of the crowd (Le Jardin lends its turntables).
