For World's Climate Day, several environmental movements call in for a gathering under the "Together for a Climate of Peace, Liberty, Equality and Fraternity" (Ensemble pour un climat de paix, liberté, égalité et fraternité) banner in Paris. Meet on Sunday December 8, 2019 from 2 p.m. at Place de la République.

Once again, there is an urgency to act against global warming and this urgency will be at the heart of the negotiations held during the upcoming yearly conference of the UN about climate changes, the famous COP25 taking place from December 2 to 13, 2019 in Madrid, Spain.

An event matching with World's Climate Day: Sunday December 8. On the occasion a new call for an international movement has been launched: "Ensemble pour un climat de paix, liberté, égalité et fraternité" (Together for a climate of peace, liberty, equality and fraternity). In Paris you're expected on Sunday December 8, 2019 from 2 p.m. at Place de La République.

As the press release posted on the Facebook event says, the aim of this new walk is to "make sure we and our children will have a future" and to go towards "a climate of peace, liberty, equality and fraternity". To do so, are required:

  • a new and green order in France, billions of employmnets for the climate in France
  • a genuine relocation of the economy, recycling and sustainability
  • a reform of pensions for more equality and protection for people in precarious situations
  • reduction of working time resuming
  • a secularity also protecting the freedom to believe or not for everyone
  • true measures against the violences against women and the equality of salaries
  • the end of controls lead by the look, the ban on using flash-balls, the recognition and sanction in case of police violence
  • a new and green order in Europe and in the world, means to help the countries the most affected by global warming: climate refugees are the consequence of our pollutions and our inaction for the climate

Meet on December 8 to walk together for a climate of peace, liberty, equality and fraternity.
