Some projects seem so bold and excessive it’s hard to get a picture of the final result. Aurore is one of them, but let’s be honest, we’re looking forward to discovering this incredible hotel project once it’s done. This project is said to come to life by 2023 on Avenue de France in the heart of Paris 13th arrondissement.
This inauguration will mark the first implantation outside the USA of eco-friendly luxury hotel trade group “1 Hotels”. In Paris, 1 Hotels will provide 140 bedrooms including 23 suites. In this very building, guests will discover a café open onto the Promenade Claude-Lévi-Strauss, a restaurant-bar with panoramic views, a fitness center, a 1000sqm spa without forgetting the co-working café called “Nuage Café”.
Covering 12,700sqm, this area will be fitted a second building but this time housing a youth hostel, Slo Living Hostel, with 179 beds in 44 bedrooms. The building will also accommodate a cabaret inspired by circus, magic and play, “Chez Fellini”, created by La Bellevilloise.
Between these two premises? An impressive green and plant-lined bridge set 28 meters (92ft) above the ground.
To design Aurore, the Compagnie de Phalsbourg and Station F – financing this ambitious project – have decided to call in very famous Japanese architect’s office Kengo Kuma as well as architects Nicola and Adélaïde Marchi. Since ecology is the core of the project, Aurore will display an architecture mixing wood, bronze and plants.
