Apple announces to reopen its stores in France

As the coronavirus pandemic is withdrawing in Europe, Apple CEO Tim Cook announces to cloreopen Apple stores in France startinh June 9, 2020.

With the coronavirus epidemic, Apple CEO Tim Cook announced to close all Apple Stores in the world back in mid-March, the only exception being China where the coronavirus epidemic seemed to have slowed sharply. 

A drastic measure made to limit the risks of the propagation of the virus involving employees and clients. And as the epidemic is withdrawing in Europe, Apple Stores are said to reopen in France starting from Tuesday June 9. About twenty stores are involved including 9 in Île-de-France. The Apple Store on the Champs-Elysées – beyond the commercial side – as been designed as a place of life. It was visited for its uncommon architecture and was a training and conference center.

But the reopening of Apple Stores in France goes along iwth safety guidelines as the coronavirus epidemic is still there. The access to stores will be regulated in order to make sure health guidelines are kept and it is highly recommended to make an appointment online prior to your visit.

During the coronavirus epidemic, Apple affirmed to have taken measures for employees: working from home for those who can and for those who have to be on site, recommendations will be followed to keep safety distance between people, as well as testing methods and temperature will be taken regularly in offices. Tim Cook also announced to have donated 15 million dollars to fight against the coronavirus pandemic and to limit its economical impact
