Coronavirus: all metro stations open, traffic forecast in Paris on June 22

Since May 11th, first day of the containment exit, the public transportation public in Paris and Ile-de-France has improved. All statiosn are open, and here is the traffic forecast for Monday June 22, in Paris and Ile-de-France.

Good news if you wanted to ride public transit since the employer's certificate is no longer needed in Ile-de-France at peak hours since June 16. Yet, facemasks remain mandatory.

If the traffic improved on the RATP grid since May 11, some stations remained closed. But as of June 22, 2020 all metro stations on the RATP network are open.

RATP traffic forecast in Paris and Île-de-France on June 22, 2020 

  • RER A: normal traffic, connection at Nanterre-Préfecture (5:40 a.m. - 10 p.m. for the SNCF)
    • On the Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Boissy-Saint-Léger et Marne-la-Vallée Chessy: almost normal traffic all day long
    • Between Nanterre Préfecture and Cergy / Poissy: normal traffic from 5:40 a.m. to 10 p.m. 

 

Because of maintenance works, traffic is interrupted between Gare du Nord and Mitry-Claye and between Gare du Nord and Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2 from Monday May 25 to Friday June 26, 2020 included, from 11 p.m. to end of service
  • Metro network: normal working times
    • Lines 1, 2, 3, 3b, 4, 5, 6, 7, 7b, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14: normal traffic
  • Tramway network: normal traffic

  •  Bus network: almost normal traffic
