A new step of measures to curb the propagation of the coronavirus epidemic has been made. This Saturday November 28, France enters the first lockdown exit phase. From now on, you can get out for a walk within a 20-km perimeter aorund your home and for 3 hours maximum, go to a place of workship or in a store, or beauty salon. But it does not mean derogatory trip certificates are no longer needed for the aforementioned reasons.
This November 24, President Emmanuel Macron has announced the first easing measures of the lockdown. Even though it is still ban to go to friends' or hold big family reunions, there is more freedom, specifically to go shopping, go to a religious service, enjoy a walk in the open air, or take care of yourself.
Each trip will have to be proven with a motive. For each trip, you will have to download and fill in a certificate from the government website or the websites of the Ministry of Health and the Secretary of the Interior.
Note that certificates are also available on smartphone via the TousAntiCovid application, as it was during curfew.
For this new lockdown, three certificates will be available. The first two are like the ones we already had: the derogatory trip certificate to prove the necessity of your trip, as well as the professional certificate if you are heading to your workplace. A third certificate has been created for the new quarantine: for school trips. This is where the biggest between the two lockdowns stands: this time, schools, junior highs and high schools remain open. A new box to tick on the derogatory trip certificate has been made for parents dropping their children to school.
For the record, you cannot go further than one kilometer from your home and for another reason that those allowed. If you happen to be out without a certificate, you can be fined €135 and up to €3,750 and six months' jail.
You can now move out with your certificate for the following reasons:
Another certificate for employees is also available. It is a certificate your employer has to fill in in case of asbolute necessity for the person who has it to go to work.
And here is the new and simplified certificate for disabled people.
