Like traveling coronavirus stands visiting some Ile-de-France cities for a few days, genuine medical deserts, a traveling testing laboratory will provide on June 23 and 25, 2020 coronavirus tests. The laboratory will first in the 19th arrondissement, on the allée Francis Ponge, at the Danube metro station exit, for the first day, and at the outskirts of the 10th and 18th arrondissements in Paris, on the Babès urban path on the second day.

This system has been launched by the Regional Health Agency in partnership with the city of Paris, the Caisse Primaire d’Assurance Maladie [local sickness insurance fund], as well as arrondissement town halls involved.

Three testing days have been encouraging, this past May 29 and on June 3,and 4 in Paris 19th arrondissement. How do these tests work? These traveling stands are open for free and without appointment, to make the access to care easier to people the most in need. So, people who have no insurance can also enjoy free consultations.

A doctor on site welcomes and examines people. If symptoms are suspicious, he can prescribe a test that will be performed right away by the medical team on site.
