If containment exit is accelerating and data seems to improve, the Health Minister warned French people this Monday June 8, 2020. As he was on a trip in Oise, he calls for vigilance against coronavirus and not go too quickly even though restrictions have been lifted.

Things are almost back to normal. The second phase of containment exit has come with the reopening of restaurants in green departments and terrace in orange area, museums and monuments are also back, so are outdoor activities centers. Data show the coronavirus epidemic in France is slowing, and this Sunday June 7, 2020, 13 deaths by the virus were reported at the hospital, the lowest toll since mid-March.

And yet, it is out of the question to drop one’s guard: health Minister Olivier Véran has warned French people this Monday June 8, 2020. As he was on a trip in Oise, visiting a testing center, he reminds that in France “we have not won the war yet”, while calling for vigilance live on BFMTV.

Of course, I understand demands, expectations, impatience that can be expressed to resume our normal lives as soon as possible” the minister said. On the occasion, he also reminds that the impact of a new restriction lifting as part of the containment exit on the evolution of the epidemic can be observed only 10 to 15 days after it has been implemented. So, by the end of next week, data would eventually show if France succeeded in moving on to phase two of the containment exit that started on June 2, 2020 or not.
