Every week, Santé Publique France shares their epidemiologic report by region based on consolidated data. So, how is the fight against the coronavirus epidemic in Île-de-France like? According to the report from October 22, 2020 gathering data in Week 43 (October 9 to 15, 2020), here are the conclusions as for the evolution of Covid-19 in the Paris area.
The number of new coronavirus cases keeps on growing in the Île-de-France region including an incidence rate of 431.7 cases for 100,000 inhabitants. This incidence increase applies to all Île-de-France departments. In Paris it grows by almost 100 points, moving from 396.1 to 493.5.
