Potterheads are on the lookout. In 2022, an XXL exhibition focusing on Harry Potter and the Fantastic Beasts saga is to travel the world. Here is what we know about it so far.

This is some news likely to lift Harry Potter universe fans’ spirits. According to French website Actualitté, Warnerbros is preparing an exhibition dedicated to the famous wizarding saga. A world tour is even scheduled for 2022 and Diagon Alley is expected to open in Northern America, Latin America, Asia, Middle Orient, Africa and Europe.

Even though cities the world-traveling exhibitions is to stop by have not been named yet, we can hope to see it open in Paris. Back to 2015, the City of Lights housed a first and gigantic Harry Potter exhibition at the Cité du Cinéma. Furthermore, events of this kind have often stopped by the French capital. We can – for instance – think of the Titanic, Tutankhamun, Games of Thrones and even Jurassic World exhibitions.

But to date, the only elements we know is that 10,000 to 20,000sqm of surface are required to house the exhibition gathering the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts sagas. Warnerbros also promises immersive staging so that Potterheads can get close to original props and costumes used during the filming of the different instalments, discover movie magic and roam around sets and innovative and impressive installations. What a program!
