Incidence rate on the rise: 88 French departments with more than 1,000 cases per 100,000 inhabitants

While the coronavirus epidemic is still circulating in France, and the government is talking about a 7th wave, the incidence rate has jumped once again, exceeding 11.15 cases per 100,000 inhabitants at Friday June 30th, 2023. Here is the list of areas where the virus is circulating most.

According to the latest data, 60.50 % of French people have received at least one booster dose, and 79.20 % are fully vaccinated. However, this is still not enough, and the coronavirus epidemic continues to spread in France. The incidence rate in France has reached 11.15 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, Tuesday June 27th, 2023 (consolidated data).

With the summer vacations fast approaching, the indicators are gradually coming back into line, once again alerting the authorities. As of Tuesday July 12, 2022, 88 French departments, including Paris and almost all the departments of the Île de France region, are above the threshold of 1,000 cases per 100,000 inhabitants over the last 7 days.
