A US Intelligence report concludes the Covid-19 virus has not been “developed as biological weapon”, and “probably” not genetically engineered.

US Intelligence handed their report this Friday about the origins of Covid-19, as required by President Joe Biden. They come to the conclusion “the virus was not developed as biological weapon nor has it been genetically engineered”. Yet, feedbacks from the American agencies do not enable to find an answer about where SARS-CoV-2 truly originates from.

The declassified report also alludes to two likely hypotheses: natural exposition to an infected animal, or an incident associated to a laboratory. So far, analysts have not been able to set on one or the other explanation. As a matter of fact, without further details, Americans consider they “will not be able to provide more definitive explanation about the origins of COVID-19”.

Although the Intelligence Service thinks the Chinese authoritiesdid not know about the virus before the initial epidemic of COVID-19 broke out”, the lack of cooperation from China in the investigation is doubtful. “Beijing keeps on hindering the world’s investigation, resisting against sharing information and blaming other countries, including the European Union”, they added.
