A short heatwave is expected on Wednesday September 14 and Thursday 15 in Île-de-France, with over 34°C (93.2°F) expected on Wednesday and over 31°C (87.8°F) on Thursday. Météo France announce the "return of fresher air from north-west on Thursday and Friday" with rainfalls in the area starting from Thursday night. This heatwave will not be like the summer's where absolute temperature records have been set.
