The Drawing Fair is back at Paris Palais de la Bourse from March 21 to March 26, 2018. It will welcome galleries specialized in ancient, modern or contemporary drawings and appearing among the most prestigious ones of the field. Over 1000 drawings will be brought together in the historic setting of Palais Brongniart, for your greatest happiness.
Drawing Now, the contemporary drawing fair is back from March 22 to March 25, 2018 at Paris Carreau du Temple for a 12th edition full of surprises.
Bijoux d’artistes at Les Arts Décoratifs
This is an event at Paris Les Arts Décoratifs museum. Come and admire the most beautiful jewels of the 20th century through a very beautiful exhibition running from March 7 to July 1, 2018. All in all, the exhibition gathers about 250 jewels coming straight from Diane Venet’s collection who is a great artist jewels collector considering them like mini works of art!
Musée Maillol returns with Foujita’s production in the roaring twenties for an exhibition running from March 7 to July 15, 2018. For this delightful exhibition, over 100 paintings and watercolor-paintings reveal Foujita’s art in the twenties, his Parisian years!
Fragrances of China
From March 9 to August 26, 2018, Paris Musée Cernuschi presents a wonderful exhibition entitled “Parfums de Chine” [Fragrances of China], offering to explore the history of China through smells and from the 3rd century before our era to the 19th century.
Mary Cassatt, an American Impressionist in Paris
From March 9 to July 23, 2018, the Musée Jacquemart-André dedicates a great retrospective to Mary Cassatt. Alive, she was considered as the greatest American female artist, Mary Cassatt lived for over sixty years in France, often exhibition at the Salon des Impressionnistes… Unfortunately forgotten in France, Mary Cassatt is still considered as a modern artist back in the United States. Here’s a wonderful occasion to rediscover her work!
Paintings from afar at the Musée du Quai Branly
For the first time since its creation, the Musée du Quai Branly presents its painting collection, 200 unique paintings that shows the look occidental artists had at the societies and peoples from afar. Matisse, Gauguin, Emile Bernard, the exhibition returns to the trips and meetings with European painters from the 18th century to the 20th century. To visit from January 30, 2018 to January 9, 2019.
Van Gogh, Mondrian, Scheffer, Dutch artists in Paris at Petit Palais
Petit Palais gives pride of place to Van Gogh, Mondrian and all Dutch artists who lived in Paris from 1789 to 1914 in a large exhibition running from February 6 to May 13, 2018. Through 115 works, this exhibition returns on a century of pictorial revolutions led by Dutch painters alongside French artists, intrigued by the City of lights.
Corot, the Painter and his models at Paris Musée Marmottan-Monet
From February 8 to July 8, 2018, the Musée Marmottan reveals a hidden facet of Corot’s art, his figures. Exceptionally brought together, over 60 paintings mostly depicting women, a production the painter kept secret comes to tell us more about the impressionist artist’s career.
Margiela, the Hermès Years
From March 22 to September 2, 2018, Paris Musée des Arts Déco will make you relive Hermès Margiela’s year (1997-2003) thanks to a wonderful exhibition! On the occasion, Martin Margiela, who ensures the exhibition artistic direction of the exhibition, selected 120 styles staged by Bob Verhelst.
