In this day of mobilization, the editorial staff takes stock of the museums and monuments open during the strike, so that you do not move for nothing, if you can move... Let's take stock!

Want to get out and learn something new or discover a monument? On this new day of strike action "against austerity, for wages and gender equality", called by the intersyndicale, this Friday, October 13, 2023, several museums and monuments have announced disruptions. And for those who don't necessarily need to take public transport to stroll around and enjoy all the culture Paris and its establishments have to offer, the editorial staff takes stock of which museums and monuments are open or closed.

Musée du Louvre, Château de Versailles, Musée du Quai Branly... You'll have to be patient and plan your outings accordingly. Please note that the museums and monuments listed below have announced their opening or closing dates for the day only. If the strike is extended over a longer period, we invite you to return regularly to our guide and follow closely the announcements of museums and other establishments.

Please note, however, that we advise you to check museum opening times and days, as these remain in force despite the strike.
