The exhibition celebrates the inclusion of nine masterpieces into the national collections - six paintings, two sculptures and a sketching pad - via the country’s gifts-in-lieu scheme. Approved by the State in 2021, Maya Ruiz-Picasso's gifts-in-lieu is part of the founding story of the museum and extends its spirit.
