For Museums' Night in Paris, the Cinémathèque is offering free activities based around the museum's collections and exhibitions, sure to delight film buffs and families alike! See you on May 18, 2024.

An evening lulled by the cinema, meeting some of history's greatest actors and directors... That's what the Cinémathèque française is offering for this new edition of Nuit des Musées in Paris , taking place on Saturday May 18, 2024.

It's an evening that puts the spotlight on cinema, in the image of the museum created in 1936, whose original mission was to preserve and restore films before presenting exhibitions. The Cinémathèque has several exhibition spaces: the Méliès museum, the film museum, which showcases hundreds of costumes, photos, machines, props, sets and other exceptional items, and the temporary exhibition space, which highlights different actors, directors or film genres.
