Nuit des Musées 2024 at the Musée Paul Belmondo in Boulogne-Billancourt (92): the program

La Nuit des Musées, the unmissable nocturnal cultural event, is coming to Paris and the Île-de-France region for a new edition on Saturday, May 18, 2024. In a festive and convivial atmosphere, museums open their doors to the public free of charge as soon as night falls, offering an enchanting and privileged plunge into art, history and culture.

An exceptional evening during which the institutions offer events, concerts, performances, guided tours, film screenings, workshops and fun activities for all tastes and ages. Whether you're an art enthusiast or simply curious, let yourself be seduced by this event rich in discovery and emotion!

The Musée Paul Belmondo is once again on board for this 20th edition of the Nuit des Musées. You know his son, Jean-Paul. But do you know where this great actor got his creativity and artistic fibre from? From his father! Paul Belmondo was a talented sculptor, who now has his own museum in Boulogne-Billancourt (92).

Housed in the Château Buchillot, the museum features some 263 sculptures and sculpture molds, 452 medals and preparatory works, 966 drawings and a studio collection of sketches, sketchbooks, tools and furniture.   In 1947, sculptor Paul Belmondo began creating models of medals, contributing to the revival of the art of the medal.
