At the heart of the Palais de Chaillot is the Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine. This is a showcase for French know-how, its history, evolution and influence around the world. It features temporary exhibitions with fascinating angles, and an impressive collection of models, plans of fortified towns, pieces of forgotten buildings and stained-glass windows. Flash visit to the Mini-Maousse 9 temporary exhibition "Games in the City"
At 9pm and 10pm

Mini Maousse 9, entitled "2024, les jeux en ville: concevoir une mini-fan-zone nomade" (2024, the games in the city: designing a nomadic mini-fan zone), contributes to the debate on the Olympic Games to be held in Paris this summer (2024).
The competition challenges us to imagine local microarchitectures, a kind of nomadic mini-fan zone, for the sensitive housing estates of the 93 region, and in particular the Plaine Commune agglomeration, to enable their residents to participate inclusively in the Olympic Games. The aim is to create friendly, family-friendly spaces around a multifunctional, responsible module in neglected urban areas. Faced with the large-scale facilities of the Paris 2024 program, Mini Maousse proposes to think small, close and accessible, so that everyone can enjoy the benefits of sport in the most isolated and remote areas. It will be a kind of Nudge, one of the tools of active design, whose aim is to encourage physical activity and the practice of sport.

The competition and its exhibition at the Cité de l'architecture are projects labeled "Cultural Olympiad" by Paris 2024, as part of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Free entry, no reservation required.
