A wonderful evening ahead... The Musée Carnavalet, a museum dedicated to the history of Paris, is taking part in the 19th edition of the Nuit des Musées (Museum Night), and on Saturday, May 13, 2023, it's offering a brand new event, to be discovered in the early evening, in the museum gardens.
The Musée Carnavalet retraces thehistory of the capital, from prehistory to the present day, through a journey highlighting over 3,800 works and settings. A journey through centuries, cultures and eras. Archaeological remains, paintings, objects, costumes, models, urban furniture and reconstructed settings: the Musée Carnavalet reveals the thousand faces of Paris.
These exceptional collections include some very well-known historical pieces, as well as unjustly forgotten treasures. The museum also regularly features temporary exhibitions, highlighting periods in history or artists who have fallen in love with the capital.

To mark European Museum Night, the Musée Carnavalet-Histoire de Paris, in partnership with Paris Music Festival, welcomes singer Cindy Pooch for a concert in the collections. It was during her childhood in Cameroon that she discovered polyphonic choral singing and gospel, and developed her passion for music and literature. A self-taught and inquisitive artist, she is influenced by black American music, as well as by her Cameroonian culture and her attraction to African and Caribbean music, which are part of her heritage. Free, no reservations required, subject to availability.
This May 13, 2023, come and enjoy this unique concert, and experience this Nuit des Musées like never before through music! Shall we drop in, friends?
