On Saturday May 18, 2019, Paris Musée du Quai Branly takes part in Museums Night and welcomes children and adults for free from 6 p.m. to midnight. Guided tours of the permanent collections and the current Oceania exhibition are on the menu!
The Musée du Quai Branly will enchant us on Museums Night: all night long, the museum devoted to African, Oceanian, Asian and American arts awaits us with guided tours in a muted atmosphere, surrounded by speakers here to tell us more about how the varied societies across the world work.
On the menu:
- “Flash tours” at the Musée du Quai Branly – Jacques Chirac!
Carte blanche to speakers: visitors are invited to discover the collections in a unique and uncommon way!
- “Flash tours" of the Oceania exhibition
The Musée du Quai Branly celebrates the 250th anniversary of James Cook's first travel to the Pacific. From March 12 to July 7, 2019, let's discover 200 items and works from all time, a minuscule drop compared with the art production in the 25,000 islands of Oceania since the Antiquity!
