The Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris or MAM takes part in Museums Night 2021 to make us live art differently. Free museum all year long, this museum offers us a wonderful vision of modern art, including a collection featuring over 10,000 works, temporary and charged exhibitions as well as many activities for children and adults. This is the occasion to approach contemporary art and learn more about the modern art movements.
On Saturday July 3, 2021, the MAM will be open late at night to make us discover works from the 20th and 21st century including masterpieces by Annette Messager, Etienne-Martin, Bernard Dufour, Christian Boltanski, Gilles Aillaud as well as Antonio Recalcati.
From 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., you can enjoy displayed work by Henry Darger, Jeux de guerre and Pierre Gaudibert, Vers le musée du futur with a museum curator. And for music lovers, you can discover OUTSIDER, inspired by Henry Darger, a musical and visual performance by Philippe Cohen Solal & Phormazero featuring Denis Lavant.
Note the access to the museum is not subject to prior booking. Health measures are to be complied with such as social distancing and facemask-wearing because of the Covid pandemic.
