Music lover friends, this event was made for you! The Italian Cultural Institute in Paris invites you on Thursday June 21, 2018 for the new World Music Day, to shudder with a concert performed by the Accademia Teatro alla Scala.
Following the huge success of 2017, the Institut Culturel Italien is happy to welcome this year again, on the occasion of World Music Day, the lyrical song students from the music department from the Accademia Teatro alla Scala.
In line with the Cadetti della Scala school created by Arturo Toscanini in 1950, this formation created in 1997 by Riccardo Muti accompanies the young artists in the improvement of their technical skills and the development of their interpretation abilities that are truly required to make their career a success.
On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Gioacchino Rossini’s passing, Anna-Doris Capitelli (mezzo-soprano), Wang Chuan (tenor), Paolo Ingrasciotta (baritone) and Rocco Cavalluzzi (bass) will be accompanied at the piano by Nicola Dal Cero and perform a selection of cavavatines, duets and trios from the Barber of Seville.
All along this year of training, this famous comic opera has been the subject of several short recitals for the young audience.
