Fête de la Musique 2022 in Paris: it's going to swing at Studio 104 of the Maison de la Radio

Why not spend your Fête de la Musique 2022 at the Maison de la Radio? On Tuesday, June 21, Radio France is offering several events throughout the day to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Fête de la Musique !

While France Inter will be squatting in theOlympia and FIP in the Arènes de Lutèce, France Musique will be in Studio 104 of the Maison Ronde from 8pm to join Clément Rochefort for a festive evening, live and in public.

On the menu? Two and a half hours of swing, embodied in the history of jazz by Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw and Jimmie Lunceford. For this anniversary edition of the Fête de la Musique, France Musique will be inviting the Jackass Brass Band to Studio 104, with arrangements by Duke Ellington, as well as the Hot Sugar Band, and the Paris Jazz Sessions in full force, not forgetting Les Yeux d'la tête, and the Pink Turtle, a vocal group that covers pop standards in a swing version!
