The Fête de la musique returns on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 in Paris and everywhere else in France. Once again, to the delight of musicians and music lovers, this major musical event will take over the streets of several major cities, offering a series of free concerts and other musical goodies, and welcoming a number of great artists that evening. And to ensure that this Fête de la musique 2023 is a complete success, Parisian and Ile-de-France transport will once again be running and circulating all night from Wednesday June 21 to Thursday June 22, 2023.
IDFM (Île-de-France Mobilités) is repeating its special Fête de la Musique operation again this year. The aim? To give you unlimited travel in Paris and the Île-de-France region throughout the night of Wednesday June 21 to Thursday June 22, 2023, with several metro, RER, Noctilien bus, streetcar and Transilien lines running all night long! As last year, 6 metro lines will be running at high frequency that night (note that not all stations will be open).
What about RER and Transilien trains? After the end of their normal service, RER lines A, B, C and D, and Transilien lines H, J, L, N, P and R, will run all night in the Paris-Banlieue direction.
METRO LINES AND STATIONS OPEN ON THE NIGHT OF WEDNESDAY JUNE 21 TO THURSDAY JUNE 22, 2023:
RER, TRANSILIEN AND TRAMWAY TRAFFIC ON THE NIGHT OF WEDNESDAY JUNE 21 TO THURSDAY JUNE 22, 2023 :
At the end of normal service, RER lines A, B, C, D and Transilien lines H, J, L, N, P and R will operate all night in the Paris-Banlieue direction. Note that line R will only run between Melun and Montereau.
Buses will also be running between Conflans Sainte-Honorine, Les Mureaux and Mantes-la-Jolie.
As for the T4 streetcar, it will run between Bondy and Aulnay-sous-Bois.
NOCTILIEN TRAFFIC ON THE NIGHT OF WEDNESDAY JUNE 21 TO THURSDAY JUNE 22, 2023 :
The Noctilien network will operate from 00:30 to 05:30, adapting to the rail network according to traffic constraints and safety perimeters.
Night owls wishing to enjoy the Fête de la Musique in Paris and the Ile-de-France region without the hassle of parking can buy a special ticket for €4. For this price, the ticket is unlimited on the entire network from 5 p.m. on June 21 until 7 a.m. the following day, ideal for enjoying several concerts without spending a fortune. It gives unlimited travel throughout the Paris region, on all modes of transport (metro, train, RER, streetcar express, bus and streetcar), with the exception of certain direct airport services (Orlyval, Le Bus Direct Paris Aéroport shuttles, VEA Disney shuttles) and tourist buses (OpenTour, Cars Rouges).
